Crowded Scouse .8 From The Capital of Culture, more than an accent it's a way of life! 2012 is our 10th Anniversary!
A big thank you to the fantastic crowd from MSF 2011, topless green hat man, young Kiwi with flag, inflatable guitar heroes, cheers to you all. The brilliant "crowdie chorus" made It a special day for us. some great pics for you to tag on facebook now, ta very much, Mark, Ian, Joe, Keith and Vin DRUMMER NEWS Unfortunately we've said goodbye to our drummer Keith, he's been brilliant and very entertaining for the last couple of years, but he wants to concentrate on his acting career, so...........who 's going to step up and fill those big (and slightly moist) shoes? HE'S BACK!! Shoeless Mike Jones is back in the drumming chair (to be fair it's actually a stool). After a brief hiatus to pursue a career as a cricket umpire (no really!) MJ has swapped stumps for sticks (see what I did there) and fired up his black Tama once more to beat out those famous rhythms! Welcome back MJ, but can you start wearing shoes?

tickets £10.00 ------------------------------------ Head on 2010 The "Head-On" music event was held at the Pan Am, Albert Dock, featured three fantastic bands: The Jez Grew Experience, Xander and the Peace Pirates and Crowded Scouse .
As expected from last year, the Head-On 2010 was a sell out and it raised the staggering, if not unbelievable, total of £10,130! Many thanks to all that came and made it a fantastic night, and an especially big thanks and hugs to all the bands who donated their services to the charity for the night. Pictures of the bands (taken by the brilliant Brian Roberts), togther with band videos and guest pictures can be found at the “Head-On 2010” Facebook page.
Merseyside Regional Head & Neck Cancer Centre is a large and internationally recognised cancer centre, which undertakes a wide range of research on its own, and in collaboration with other organisations. All funds and donations raised will go straight to the Centre's cancer research and patient care programmes, with none being spent on administration. Many thanks for supporting Head-On 2010 and the Merseyside Regional Head & Neck Cancer Centre, and hopefully we will see you again in 2011.

"Learning to walk again" Some of you may not know, but we haven't always been a tribute act. We have always written and performed our own stuff under the guise of "One Thousand Pictures". We did a new song at "Head On" and people seemed to really like it, so we got into a studio in December and recorded "Learning to walk again" and all the proceeds will go to "Head On 2011". Now available on iTunes Amazon check it out, cheers! Reviews "Crowded Scouse adeptly manage to capture the energy, humour and sound of the "real thing". Close your eyes and be transported to the stalls of the Liverpool Empire, or even the steps of Sydney Opera House!

By the Fans For the Fans with the Fans Joe & Mark had been playing in bands together since their teens, and always been Crowdies fans, so it seemed a natural thing when they gave up playing their own material to begin playing acoustic nights as “Crowded Scouse”. They were soon joined by Big Al on guitars and continued as a trio until Vin (a self confessed Finnatic!) who had been to see the Scousers a couple of times, offered his services as Bass player “Oh and I know drummer as well”. Enter Shoeless MJ! The band debuted on one of the main stages of Mathew Street 2003 and then progressed to become regulars at the MSF and all the major tribute venues up and down the country. When the Scouser's opened MSF 2005 from the Pier Head stage, you could hear them in Birkenhead (we know because a guy who was drinking in the "Magazine"at the time emailed us!) There have been a few comings and goings in the guitar dept of CS , and when a free CD was offered on this website, one of the hundreds of people who replied turned out to be a great guitarist and fellow fan Alan Mac (the King!) who has proven to be the final factor that makes the band complete. The great thing about the Scousers is, they are genuine Finn fans, it’s all about playing music they love for other fans, so there are no dodgy accents or wigs! What you do get is great music, with a strong emphasis on fun and audience participation. If you want to know where we are next, then go straight this minute to our Myspace site, there's things to see and things to listen to, see you there. “Don’t Dream it’s not over”
Joe "Blacknotes" - Keyboards Ian R (He's got luvly hurr!) – Guitars, Shoeless Mike Jones - Drums, Vin (the Tuner King of Crosby) - Bass
